Adobe Dreamweaver is web development software for designing and developing web applications. This course provides a powerful combination of visual layout tools and application development features to create visually-appealing, standards-based websites and applications. You will learn to create and upload a basic website that utilizes multimedia, style pages (Cascading Style Sheets), and more. You will be introduced to the XHTML code, although XHTML is not taught in this course.
Upon successful completion of this class, the student will be able to design, create, and upload a basic website using behaviors, style sheets (CSS), and multimedia.

Plan and define a website
Create external and internal links
Create internal links to named anchors
Create, modify, and copy a navigation bar
Create an image map
Manage web site links
Evaluate web content for legal use & Performance and website maintenance
Create and manipulate Division Tags
Understand the advantages & disadvantages of embedded Styles versus External Styles & Learn to work with Advanced Behaviors
Create Media Objects & Explore Dreamweaver Templates & Publish a website and transfer files

Working knowledge of the Windows OS, Computer File Management. Preferably experience within Adobe products, but not required.All prerequisites are considered to be the basic skills and knowledge needed prior to taking this class. Instructors will assume your readiness for the class materials and will NOT use class time to discuss prerequisite materials.
